odds & ends

archersangel1. the amazing race is on tonight! i love that show beyond reason.
2. changed the name of this journal. i made the sub title the title & the new sub title is a quote from kate mulgrew's sunday talk at this year's dragon con. i told my brother that it should be on all their literature. (ETA: it was; "it's like the UN on acid.")
do you know how cool she is? after her talk, my brother was calling her "miss mulgrew." that lasted about 5 minutes, then it was back to "kate mulgrew."
3. saw the show trauma last night. wasn't impressed. my brother calls it trauma-drama.
4. told my brother that i didn't care for wendy's baconator. he said it would be better with 4 patties with 4 strips of bacon ketchup & mustard on every layer! i said that's why the US is a nation of fat asses. (no offense to the overweight, i'm one of you)
5. i'm thinking about finding some kind of fall-themed banner for this journal. ETA: i'm failing at this. maybe when i switch layouts.
