feeding my inner egyptologist

while browsing through netflix i discovered the BBC series called egypt. it's only 6 episodes (pooh!) covering 3 of the bigest (or maybe just more well known?) discoveries in egyptology; the discovery of king tut's (tutankhamun) tomb, giovanni belzoni & his discoveries (chief among them clearing ramses the second's temples at abu simbel) and the deciphering of the rosetta stone. they use re-enactments with some narration to show what happened & in the belzoni episodes they have excerpts form a book he wrote.
very interesting stuff, IMHO. i wish they had done more episodes.
