1. i'm slightly dyslexic. not enough to make reading difficult, just enough for it to be annoying. it's not that i "see" stuff wrong, it's that somewhere between my brain & my hand when i write it or brain and my mouth when i say it that it gets mixed up. examples: something that costs $35.00 might turn out to be $53.00 or the year 1962 might be 1926 for for turns to fro. i swear it's gotten worse now that i'm on the computer a lot. i think it's because i don't have to think how to form the letters, just pound the keys on the keyboard.
i have to remind myself to proofread because on LJ i have open ID & you can't edit & sometimes it looks like i drunk posted, but i don't even drink.
2. i can't swim. fat floats. i had swimming for a 9-week semester in the freshman & sophomore years of high school. i can to the backstroke OK, but haven't been in a pool since then.
3. i haven't seen a movie in the theaters since 1999. i think it was the world is not enough.
4. i have messy handwriting. the cursive stuff (as it was called when i was in grade school) mostly. i only use it to sign my name, but as my brother says; at least you can read it.
5. i was bit by a dog when i was 6 & have trust issues regarding dogs. i've "known" a few good ones, but in general where you find a dog, you won't find me.
6. until i went to anime-expo in los angeles in july of 2009, i had never been outside of my time zone.
7. i've been to 8 or 9 states, if you include my own, plus washington d.c.
8. i've never been outside the u.s.a
9. i haven't chewed bubble gum in about 10 years.
10. i don't smoke, drink or use drugs. and never have i "experimented"
