1. If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
history.

2. If you could do anything in the world as your career, what would you do?
archeologist & part-time librarian.

3. If you could be immortal, what age would you choose to stop aging at and why?
30, or at least no older than 35. it's generally a good age.

4. If you could be any supernatural creature, what would you be and why?
a werecat of some sort.

5. If you had to teach a class on one thing, what would you teach?
the history of star trek, with a focus on failed star trek projects. such as the star trek; phase II series they were going to have in the 1970s, the captain sulu with his ship in the beta quadrant series they were considering before settling on doing ENT & the rumored star trek academy series with a young james kirk.
i got into the history of ST: phase II & what might have happened in trek history if it got made here.

Is it a cheat to say "languages," plural? I study language, but it does not come easily to me. My husband is a mathematician, and languages come easier to him, seems clearly unfair!

Ah, Captain Sulu! It's a shame we never got that show.
