friday 5: meals
May. 28th, 2026 08:26 pm1. In an average week, how many nights do you eat home-cooked dinners?
all 7. rarely an old-friend/former neighbor will take us out to eat.
2. Do you plan your meals out in advance, or just wing it?
kind of in advance. we usually have a general schedule, but it's not set in stone.
3. How many nights per week do you eat out or order food delivered?
usually 0. but if we had more money, it would probably be at least once per week.
4. Do you keep a stock of nonperishable foods from which you could whip up a meal or two if you needed to?
no.
5. Have you ever tried preparing meals for the week all at once, say, on the weekend?
no. that's too much cooking, too much food in the fridge/freezer & probably too many post/pans to wash.
