1. What is your favorite 'food' holiday?
i think thanksgiving.

2. Do you prefer ham or turkey (or tofu turkey)?
i think ham.

3. Do you anticipate or dread seeing your relatives for the holidays?
mostly dread.

4. When do you start listening to Christmas carols (for real, you can tell us)?
i'd willing do it on dec. 1 i hate that it stars earlier every year.

5. How are you feeling right now with regards to the upcoming holiday season?
meh.

Is the ham prepared in any special way or just baked. Our friend has a killer bourbon glaze that is paradise on ham!

we usually get a ham from the store, honey glazed (if we can find it) & spiral cut.

I wasn't sure if you'd get it from a specialty place or not. I only really eat ham once a year (at Thanksgiving) and it's mostly because I adore the bourbon glaze that my friend makes. :D She gave me the recipe, but it doesn't taste the same.

it's just whatever regular supermarket has it. i wish we had a honeybaked ham store close to us, but the nearest one is at least 50 miles away.

We have one around the corner and I've never even been in it. Isn't that the way? I'm hoping to get a little ham to take home this year for Westerns the next morning. We will have to see what happens. At least I won't have to beg for the turkey carcass this year (we are doing a bird of our own for the first time in a long time).
