Luke starts her out easy by having her levitate small rocks then later, deflecting things being thrown at her.
Leia is amazed at how much she can "feel" through The Force, she was worried that she didn't have the connection to it that her brother has.
However, Luke tells her that she must be patient, they'll get to Lightsaber training "soon".

Leia points out that Luke's first lesson with Obi-Wan involved a Lightsaber.
Luke points out that was an entirely different set of circumstances.
Han points out that they keep having this discussion.
