my brother put it on the netflix list because 1. we hadn't seen it in a long time & 2. the list was getting kind of short.

it was the extended cut (or something) but the only things that they seem to have added were a longer scene of ra reacting to the bomb at the end, the head of the guard that got transported up to the ship & maybe (it's been a long time since i've seen this) daniel briefly petting a cat on ra's throne.
was catherine langford supposed to be german or something? one of the many things they changed for the show.
jaye davidson apparently got out of show business after this movie. or maybe no one wanted to work with him. from what i recall, he was a pain to work with.
were the youths which surrounded ra his servants? or maybe his children?
i wonder how the sequels would've gone. devlin & emmerich reworked one script into independence day.
