Embolden the ones you did before you were 11 ¾ (as far as you can remember!)
Italicise the ones you have done since then.
(childhood ends at 12? i beg to differ. *points at icon*)
1. Climb a tree – yes. not too far, i'm not good with heights
2. Roll down a really big hill – fairly big. and at school yet. the teacher was not happy.
3. Camp out in the wild – no
4. Build a den. – some kind of blanket den.
5. Skim a stone. – never could.
6. Run around in the rain – often. when i got a bit older too.
7. Fly a kite – yes. not very well.
8. Catch a fish with a net. – no. but i did want to go fishing as a kid for some reason.
9. Eat an apple straight from a tree. – yes, pears & peaches too.
10. Play conkers – don't even know what that is.
11. Throw some snow – yes. we were never good at making a "proper" snowball though.
12. Hunt for treasure on the beach – never been to a beach.
13. Make a mud pie – yes.
14. Dam a stream – no.
15. Go sledging – nope.
16. Bury someone in the sand – never been to a beach. and wouldn't do that if i did go to one. too messy. IMHO.
17. Set up a snail race .- no.
18. Balance on a fallen tree – yes
19. Swing on a rope swing – just once.
20. Make a mud slide. – no.
21. Eat blackberries growing in the wild.- yes. and got scratched in the process of picking them.
22. Take a look inside a tree – lots of rotten ones around.
23. Visit an island – not that i recall.
24. Feel like you're flying in the wind –not flying, exactly.
25. Make a grass trumpet – is that where you put a blade of grass between your thumbs & blow through it? rarely got that to work.
26. Hunt for fossils and bones. – yes. found a cool fish one in a piece of slate & it has since gotten lost in the shuffle of life.
27. Watch the sun wake up – yes. not as fun as it's often made out to be. IMHO.
28. Climb a huge hill – yes. technically, i think it was part of a mountain.
29. Get behind a waterfall – no.
30. Feed a bird from your hand – no, that would freak me out.
31. Hunt for bugs – does looking for fireflies count?
32. Find some frogspawn – yes. lots of times
33. Catch a butterfly in a net – no
34. Track wild animals – not far.
35. Discover what's in a pond – yes.
36. Call an owl – nope.
37. Check out the crazy creatures in a rock pool – never been to a rock pool.
38. Bring up a butterfly – i think someone brought a jar to my 3rd grade class with a couple that we watched.
39. Catch a crab – never been to the ocean.
40. Go on a nature walk at night – not willingly. i've walked back from places after dark though.
41. Plant it, grow it, eat it – yes. with help from my mom.
42. Go wild swimming – no. i wasn't in anything deeper than a kiddie pool until i had to take swimming in 9th grade.
43. Go rafting – the closet thing was some raft pool thing at an amusement park where you pulled yourself across the pool on a rope. (the raft was hooked on the rope by some pulley thing)
44. Light a fire without matches – does a lighter count?
45. Find your way with a map and compass. – no.
46. Try bouldering – no.
47. Cook on a campfire – no.
48. Try abseiling - nope.
49. Find a geocache – no. would like to for some reason though.
50. Canoe down a river. – no.
