2 year phone anniversary

archersangelit has been roughly two years since we got our first smartphones. i'm not sure exactly when, but i posted about getting them on nov. 26, so that is the unofficial date.
still not doing much more then calling, texting (we ended up doing more of that, since it's easier type out stuff with the keyboard setup) & taking the occasional picture/video. we're probable only watched a handful of videos in the past 2 years. weather & news related ones.
my brother is insisting that the batteries are not as good at holding a charge any more. but the thing is he looks up stuff on them while watching TV or youtube videos. if someone mentions a person, company, country, movie, whatever, he looks it up right away so he doesn't forget before looking it up on the laptop later. and somethings he follows rabbit trails to wherever, which also runs down the batteries.
it could be that the batteries going (they're 2 years old after all), but since the charge amount (level?) lasts a varying amount from week to week it's more likely the amount of time they're used.
