bang, bang

it's mostly quiet here, except for the shrieking kids & the cars playing loud music. the past few years we didn't have any firectackers set off nearby, just kids with sparklers & those little things that get thrown on the ground and snap.

but this year is different. i don't know if it's because people can't really go anywhere for BBQs & stuff (although some do), but this year we've gotten big stuff every night this week. large M-80 like things being set off in the row behind us. people from the other end of the row setting off stuff & then coming down on our end to set off more.

i don't know what is wrong with people. i expected to hear something from from the owners about it, but we haven't yet.
