1. How are you feeling today?
meh.

2. Have you gone to one of those emergency/urgent care walk-in clinics?
yes.

3. What symptoms made you go there?
it has varied. once or twice it was ear pain that turned out to be an infection. last time it was a throat problem that turned out to be tonsil stones.

4. Does it make you feel better to have the doctor translate your symptoms into a medical-sounding diagnosis (e.g., really bad cough = bronchitis)?
no. fancy terminology doesn't help the situation. but when they dismiss it as "just a bad cough" that rude.

5. What is the worst tasting medicine you have ever had?
the stuff for the tonsil stones. it was a thick-ish liquid i had to gargle with for 20 seconds (which is a long time to gargle) and it had lidocaine in it for the throat pain, which numbed every part of my mouth and lips that it came into contact with.
