that figures

here where i live now they have a july 4^TH thing a day or two before that date & some kind of "the summer is almost over" thing in the beginning of aug.

the first year we were here we missed the first cookout thing & went to the second. last year we went to the first and not to the second.

this year i vowed that come hell or high water we'd go to both.

so of course they don't have either one.
