a word of warning about new balance shoes

last month i made a post about trying to find shoes that fit. the ones i got: new balance 475^v2 walking shoes, in black. they are nice except for one big problem.

they squeak. apparently this is an issue with ones with certain ones. the fixes recommend haven't worked for me. or not for long, anyway. i got them as a "wet weather" shoe. to wear during rain (not heavy stuff, i have boots for that) or when there's puddles, because of the squeak i won't be wearing them any other time.

overall i like them, but because of the squeak i will never get new balance shoes again.
