it finally stopped raining here. it fells much cooler now. the weather report says 69^F but it feels colder.

twistedchick is looking for movies or tv shows/episodes that mention birth control, condoms, the pill, abortion or family planning.

I have a theory that since the 1990s, the majority of movies that mentioned anything concerned with a woman's choice whether to bear children did so to dismiss it, or were set in the past, or future, or did it in such a way as to make it not seem a useful or reasonable option. I think it would be interesting to track this and see where this has been going. Hollywood reflects society, but it tends not to be progressive; a lot has been written on this but I'm not sure there are any titles out there that concern contraception or abortion as opposed to sex. If you know of some, please comment also.
