i give up!

i'm reading, or i should say trying to read, the fossil trail: how we know what we think we know about human evolution by ian tattersall. i'm a third of the way through it and well, the term mind numbingly boring comes to mind.

i picked it up because it seemed vaguely interesting & i figured i should try to read more non-fiction, but unless you're  really into anthropology it is just not worth the time IMHO.

my booksfree books came today so i'm going to start on those. i've never quit a book before the end, i usually skim the pages and read the last chapter. as a used book owner once told my brother; life's too short to stick with a book that you don't like.

i wonder if i can include this title in my book list?

i would (put it on your list). but then, i do that all the time. it took years to stop forcing myself to read books cover to cover no matter how awful. once i got the hang of it though, i never made myself do it again. lol
