another birthday
had lunch at a somewhat fancy sandwich place. it was more sports bar than i was expecting.
i had the crispy chicken sandwich with fries & my brother had an italian sausage sandwich with fries.
and because i'm old now, i was thinking about what people called ole people.
old goat is usually men. old bat is for women.
old duffer is mostly men. old crone is women, but repeats itself because a crone is an old woman.
then you get into old dog, which is for men who chase after women. and old cow, which is used for larger-sized women who are hateful or abusive.
i'm sure there are others, but that's all i can think of right now.
