what is time anyway?

i was looking at posts i had made about ncis: new orleans to torture myself for no good reason & realized that the final episode was in 2021. four freakin' years ago!

if it was not canceled this year would have been season number 11 for them. but despite my disappointment, 7 seasons is pretty good for a tv show. especially one staring scott bakula.

confession time; since the show filmed in new orleans* whenever there was a national weather report during the filming season (july to march, i think) i would look at the new orleans area to see what the weather was like. yes, i realize that i most likely do need professional help.

*other ncis shows filmed in a studio in los angeles & just did outdoor shots on location.

I recall watching it, then apparently thought it was canceled. It went into syndication a year or so back, so I started watching it again. Tuned in to an episode that was filmed during the pandemic and it was being used as part of the plot. Whaaa? I'm sure I missed the last two seasons, and I'm still not sure how that happened.

I think the filming in New Orleans really added to the show, but probably increased the cost and made it more likely to be canceled.

I do wonder if any of the characters have guest starred on other NCIS shows since cancelation. I've drifted away from it, so I haven't kept up, but it would be a nice continuity thing to see some familiar faces again.
