further adevntures with foreign food

back in sept. '12 i wrote a post about my brother & i getting some food from the international shelf at the local big lots. well yesterday, we did it again. (all translations are from google translate)

first; from italy and a company called dora 3, croissant di pastasfoglia (of puff pastry), below the illustration of it; crema pasticcera (custard). in english further down it says with custard cream filling.
verdict: kind of dry, with very little in the way of filling.
the other baked good things we had (see other entry) were kind of dry too. i wonder if it's becaue they expect you to have them with coffee.

from poland & tago: biscuits with coca-peanut cream and milk chocolate. (all of that was in english)
verdict: very good.

also from poland & dr gerard: pasja (passion) chocolate biscuits with coconut filling. (all of that was in english)
verdict: pretty good. despite it having dark chocolate. which i don't like.

from italy & fratelli laurieri; taralli savoury rings (taht was in english). they're pretzel-like things with pizza flavor. it says on the label: suitable for vegetarians. which amused me for some reason.
verdict: bleh. not much "pizza flavor" which my brother says is better than it being overloaded. but i doubt i could distinguish between them & plain ones in a blind taste-test.
